ETHICS – A safe place in an unsafe world.

Updated: Jun 3

Every individual's persona is given shape by his family, religious beliefs, and cultural ascendancy. When a child is born, it holds some enigmatic ushering principles that indirectly sets the genesis of its persona, mentality, and it's reconciliation with the neighborhood. A soul of a child contains an impassable hush-hush, which is gingerly divulged as it matures.

It is all-important that parents foster their children's divine lives as well as their psychological, physical, and emotional experiences. When this gets an impeccable sense of direction, children then tend to underpin their ethical behavior. If these domains are not maintained meticulously, children's moral conduct begins to divert from the ethical track.

"Ethics and equity and the principles of justice do not change with the calendar."

With the economic advancement of man and the emergence of working couples, the families have taken alternatives to external agencies. Due to the lack of time spent between parents and children, the values imbibed by the children gets diluted. A full effect can be seen in the youth today whose sense of right is set on, in the light of satisfaction or in other special conditions. It is a gruesome task to survive this competitive rat race where you don't want to finish last. They occasionally stretch the truth and distort the event that literally transpired. In short, it's a concoction of reduced truth and increased manipulation and proper bending. This proceeds with a few doubts in mind to start with. Then it gets going into one's everyday behavior and ultimately becomes the quotidian routine.

We do believe that we live in a world of cut-throat competition. The customary notion on which people argue is that If one adheres to Ethics, that individual without a doubt is going to descend. As a result of all such beliefs, Ethics is just left as a subject to debate upon.

It stands true for the saying, The Behaviour of a man follows everywhere and anywhere he Goes. At the workplace, it has to be compelled with integrity and uprightness. Yet we see there is purloining of office belongings. What is erroneous for one may be correct for the other. It genuinely counts on the virtues, value systems, and moral lessons that an individual has imbibed in his life. In some countries, some pharmacists adhere strictly to regulations, whereas other drugs that require prescriptions are made freely by them. Have they taken the time to realize what might be the outcome of their unethical practices? There are infants born each year with deformities due to misinformation and ignorance about drug use. Is the idea of toying Human life right? Absolutely No! But we still find them dumping banned drugs or those who are yet to be passed through clinical trials. And for the people who are giving an up hand to such practices have to discern that it is entirely wrong to do so, and start living better.

"In civilized life, law floats in a sea of ethics."

It is a fact that most of us are confined to various obligations, suppressed to coercion, stress, and pressure. It is in these different circumstances that the individual's ethical values and standard of behavior become operational. The real test lies in here. When it is left to our respective consciences. Ethics is one of the things that will shield us from legal absences. You will then not be in trouble with anyone, be it your family, friends, or workplace. Ethics is about making decisions that contemplate one's own sense of responsibility.

This coming - of - age, experiences, flamboyant skills will take us to our deserved positions. Our actions present the temperament we have. Lastly, I would like to conclude by saying, "Ethics is something that you perpetrate when not a single Soul is watching you."

"Never let your sense of morals get in the way of doing what's right."
